Fast, quality, fair and technology-supported service — working to ensure citizen satisfaction. Burayu, Shaggar City | Onkoloolessa 24, 2018 The First Service Center (MESOB) of Shaggar City, Burayu Branch, is working to improve citizen satisfaction through fast, quality, fair and transparent public services. The government has given particular attention to establishing one-stop service centers to modernize public service, reduce repeated journeys, save time and costs, and improve service efficiency. These centers support accessible, transparent and citizen-centered services that use modern technology. Burayu Mesob brings together 28 government offices and 164 public services in one place. It uses a Queue Management System (QMS), eService, a Document Management System (DMS) and a Biometric Attendance System to strengthen service speed, transparency, accountability and efficiency. The center reviewed its first-quarter performance to identify achievements, address shortcomings and share good practices. Planning and Budget specialist Yohaannis Abarraa presented the report, followed by discussions with staff on results, service delivery and digital work processes. The center's manager, Engineer Isaayaas Mokonnon, emphasized the importance of fast, quality and modern public services that meet users' needs. He explained that bringing services previously provided by separate offices together has helped residents save time and costs. Strengthening the use of technology is also supporting faster and more transparent service. First-quarter results 62,739 customers were received through the queue management system (QMS). More than 59,976 customers received prompt service. These results reflect the center's efforts to provide government services in one place, reduce the burden on residents and improve efficiency. The center will continue working to provide fast, quality, fair and transparent services supported by modern technology, improve citizen satisfaction and contribute to Digital Ethiopia 2030.
